The Run !

Members,

Friday was a day of chaos for most of us who were busy sorting out last
minute tuning and polishing before our trip
to Newcastle Black Rock Casino with Max My Ride on Saturday. We were up and
ready at the crack of dawn meeting at the
Engen Garage outside Carnival City. The cars representing Carbon360 were
really hot...to mention a few, an Audi R8,
BMW M3's, Scooby's, Type R's, Turbo'd V-tecs,EVOS, Vdubs, and a Turbo'd E30
beemer....

As we left the garage in convoy to the N3, we probably woke the whole of
Tsakane with the sound of turbo's spooling & roaring engines!

The Audi R8 wasn't shy to pulled out first screeching tires and was chased
by the rest of the crew....and then all hell broke loose as we approached
the N3 and the Supra, Scoobies and Turbo'd E30 started tearing the tar!
It was like survival of the fittest because every car was fast but everyone
wanted to see who can touch 300km first!
Try opening your window at 300km to take a picture and see what happens!

We arrived at the Engen Villiers and was astounded by the amount of people
and cars from other car clubs waiting for us to join in as one big mother
convoy from Jhb 2 Newcastle. What is a long trip without a good wimpy
breakfast, while our cars were being swamped with people taking pictures!
With over 40 cars, some tires popping of rims, boost pipes coming off and
Some serious stone chips at high speed tailing....the ride to Ladysmith
was a very exciting...

In Ladysmith we met the guys from Carbon360 KZN and made an appearance at a
shopping centre...We honestly felt like celebrities!
Not long after we were escorted by the local traffic cops into the town of
Newcastle, right into the Black Rock Casino greeted by hundreds of people.
What a day..with the smell of fresh food in the air, bass in your face and
people all over the place, I must say that the day was a success....ending
of the evening with a supper with Max My Ride Crew, Dr. Decibel, and a bunch
of other cool guys...where we were given some hampers from NF octane
booster.
Once again this Elite Performance Club has kept its word by standing out
from
The crowd, we all stood proud of being associated with a club like
Carbon360...

The trek back was long and tiring but worth every moment....especially after
that breakfast at the Black Rock Casino...

Thanks to those of you that attended, and for those that didn't.....there's
always next year!!
